Booty Barre Primary Instructor Training in Davis, CA

The Booty Barre™ Teacher Training Program (Trademark by Tracey Mallett) is a completely pre-choreographed program that takes the guesswork out of teaching. The primary certification course is an 18-hour training program performed over 2.5 days.

Booty Barre™ Training Components

The training program consists of the following:

• Two “Turn Key” classes
• Choreography materials (video and music)

Pre-requisites to Qualify as a Booty Barre™ Instructor

The pre-requisites to qualify as a candidate to participate in the Booty Barre™ certification are listed below. If you are currently enrolled in any one of the certification programs listed you are allowed to take the course.

• Pilates mat certification
• Primary Group Fitness certification
• Yoga certification (200 hr. min.)

Certification Process

Upon completion of the 18-hour primary certification, you will be required to submit a video of you teaching a class. The video should be submitted no later than 60 days after the completion of the training program.

You will be evaluated on your musicality, clear vocal cues, encouragement, safety, correct execution of the exercises and on the correct order of the repertoire.  Instructors are not allowed to teach the Booty Barre™ until they have passed this final teaching evaluation and have earned a certificate.  Upon receiving your certification you may teach the Booty Barre™ class anywhere without any licensing fee.  However, to keep the certification current you are required to attend a one-day Master class yearly or perform continuing education via TheBootyBarre.com.

If you are not successful in your first attempt you can submit another video 30 days later with a $75.00 fee.  If after the second time you are still not successful we advise you to retake the certification program again at 50% off the original fee.

Post- Certification Benefits and Continuing Education

Upon completion of the certification process, each instructor will have access to the growing community of the Booty Barre™, allowing everyone to share information and continuing support.  Tracey Mallett, founder of the Booty Barre™, will provide all new choreography and music four times a year allowing you to sustain class motivation and remain on the cutting-edge of group fitness.  Also, annual master classes will be available, which are great ways to add to your knowledge base. Location of master classes at host sites will be posted on The Booty Barre™ official website.

Enrollment Fee

The total cost of The Booty Barre™ Primary Certification Program is $650.00.  The tuition includes:

• Booty Barre DVD
• Booty Barre Manual
• Certificate of Completion

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a space.  Full payment of $650 is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the course.
